The Burntwood Monday Football League served up another thrilling round of fixtures in Week 4, with a plethora of goals across the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2.

In the Premier League, Burntwood FC continued their winning streak with a 4-2 victory over FC Prodigies, while Wheel FC hammered M Bangers 5-1. Both of these teams were turning the screwdriver as they confidently stride to the top! In other news, Ray Priests also triumphed over The CTL Elite with another meaty 4-2 scoreline, proving their mettle in the league.

The most nail-biting Match of the Season so far saw The Gradient edge past Pete Always Scores Bangers by a single goal, clinching a 5-4 win. What is even more tragic, is that this actually turned out to be Banger's final game with us! A harsh way to bow out of the league as we bid a fond farewell to our former Champions. They do however leave with heavy necks and a full trophy cabinet of course!

Moving down to Division 1, Kepa Clean Sheet delivered a stunning performance by blanking Boys To Men 5 to nothing. Elsewhere, Bottom FC secured a 2-0 victory against Harriers and Norton FC outclassed Patty Freaks FC 5-1. An unusual goalless draw was recorded between Sheffield Monday and Norton Canes, leaving both teams in need of a win in their next match. It's fair to say, a few teams will need to bring their shooting boots next week!

Division 2 saw Unathletico Madrid outscore MONDAY WARRIORS 5-3 in a high-octane, 8-goal game. Trooper FC crushed Poms United 10-2, while Purple Cobras FC squeezed out a 2-0 win against Scrambled Legs.

Stay tuned for Week 5’s fixtures, as the race for the top spot in each division hots up. Burntwood Monday Football League continues to provide a thrilling display of local football talent!
