BURNWOOD, ENGLAND - Week 13 of Burntwood Monday 6-a-side Football League brought exhilarating matches across all divisions. The action was intense, the competition fierce, and the desire to win was evident in every kick of the ball.

In the Premier League, we kick off with our Match of the Day. Arguably the most important one yet, 1st vs the challengers in joint 2nd. With 6 goals in total, it was Burntwood FC showed impeccable form with a 4-2 win over Bunch Of Scruffs, their closest rivals - officially dispatched. And with just 1 game left to go, they are officially safe champions!!

Meanwhile Toe Poke Mafia managed to edge past RAWNSLEY RANGERS with a 3-1 victory. Scrambled Legs and CTL Elite both picked up easy wins too. 

In Division 1, Victor Moses Garden picked up a dominant 4-0 win against Basic FC. The Grillbillies and Norton FC ended in a 1-1 draw. Both Norton and Victor doing just about enough to scrape the results they needed. Meaning 1 week early, we have our Champ and our runner up! In other news, Patty Freaks FC demolished Dribble Fc 8-2 in an eight-goal thriller. 

Division 2 saw Soup King FC narrowly losing 2-1 to Donny On Da Beek and Whopper Walsh securing a convincing 4-0 win against PSV Hangover. The match between Kepa Clean Sheet and Karius To Glory ended in a 1-1 tie. With so many games going the other way than expected… Div2 is still up for grabs and set for a grand stand finish next Monday night! Who’s going up? Or who’s going downnn?

Meanwhile, in Division 3, Future Stars edged past Davos Diddy Party with a 1-0 win, and Broadfield FC recorded an emphatic 6-0 victory against Trooper FC. FCDapperGirls matched that scoreline against Pro Clubs Irl. Broadfield FC's prolific forward emerged as the top scorer for the week. As they cruise towards their first ever trophy, and are going up! Who will be joining them.. we shall have to wait and see…

Finally, in Division 5, Stinky Parton Fc claimed a narrow 3-2 victory against FC Pintalona, are they the ones to watch next season??

The 13th week of the Burntwood Monday 6-a-side Football League truly delivered on excitement, showcasing the finest local talent and fostering community spirit, one goal at a time. As we move into week 14, the competition is only going to get hotter.
