In the final week of an exciting Burntwood Monday Football league, we saw some thrilling games and remarkable performances. After 14 incredible weeks, the season has now drawn to a close, and the winners for each division have been announced. 

Victory over the RR saw the champagne get corked, with yet another trophy inbound following a season off! A final win against the departing CTL Elite saw the Scrambled Legs celebrate in style, 2nd place! while their opponents had the silverware slip from their grasp late on!

In the Premier League division, Burntwood FC secured their victory after a season of exceptional games. The team's consistent performance resulted in a total of 24 points and 12 wins, making them the division's champion.

Division 1 saw an equally impressive performance from Norton FC. The team outperformed their competitors with 26 points, making them the winners of this division. They've been untouchable this season with a total of 12 wins. An 8 goal MotD thriller saw them defend their right to the trophy against new lads Lattos Toy Boys! Truly outstanding work, with not a single loss!

The second division was no less competitive, and arguably our tightest! The championship, and indeed the promotion went right to the wire! Karius To Glory, despite the stiff competition, managed to clinch the title. They ended the season with 21 points and 9 wins, showcasing their football prowess throughout the league. They scraped by with just a draw as Donny on the Beek could do no more! Grateful for 2nd spot I’m sure they are nonetheless!

In Division 3, Broadfield FC emerged victorious. The team played phenomenally, scoring a total of 24 points and securing 12 wins. Their dedication and performance have truly earned them the gold. Clear winners and clear runners up in the form of FC DapperGirls!

The competition in our newbie Division 5 was intense, but the final results all point to FC Pintalona being our newest and best equipped team! We look forward to seeing them thrive next season!

Speaking of next season… it kicks off this coming Monday and fixtures will be released on Thursday and 4pm. Keep your eyes peeled on the site!!

While we applaud the winning teams, credit must also be given to the top scorers in each division. Their exceptional skills added to the exhilaration of the games and left spectators on the edge of their seats.
