High-Stakes and High Scores Define Week 6 of Burntwood Monday 6-a-side Football League

In an exciting evening of football, the Burntwood Monday 6-a-side league saw compelling match-ups, high scores and plenty of thrilling moments in week 6 of the season.

In the Premier League division, the Bunch Of Scruffs demonstrated their dominance with an emphatic 5-0 victory over The Grillbillies. Can they be stopped!? Toe Poke Mafia emerged victorious in a closely contested match with Speccy Wanderers, edging out their opponents 4-3. A crazy score line!! Meanwhile, Sheffield Monday made a resounding statement with a 4-0 win against Hills Army, while the Lattos Toy Boys also secured a significant 3-1 win against Scrambled Legs. One of the biggest shocks of the night!

Division 1 saw Serves You Right For Muscat That thrash Patty Freaks FC with an astounding 8-1 victory. They truly are the ones to watch and have hit the ground running! FCDapperGirls squeezed past McGinn N Tonic with a 2-1 win. Karius To Glory also secured a 2-0 victory over Rawnsley Rangers and Monday Warriors edged out Harriers 1-0. In a tightly contested match, Dahlmer FC were edged out by Whopper Walsh who broke the deadlock twice in the late game, resulting in a 0-2 victory, nice!

The Division 2 games were equally enthralling. Diddy’s Baby Oil Plug triumphed over Barely Athletic with a 3-0 victory. Next up is our Match of the day, and with over 10 goals too! Kepa Clean Sheet outscored Davos Diddy Party 8-3. Outstanding work! PSV Hangover managed to keep a clean sheet against Pro Clubs Irl with a 3-0 win. The match between Diddy's Dribblers and Queen Park Strangers ended in a no-score draw. Basic FC registered yet another a high scoring win against Trooper FC, with a final score of 7-5.

This week's top scorers were Bunch Of Scruffs for the Premier League, Serves You Right For Muscat That for Division 1 and Basic FC for Division 2.
