Play in the Burntwood Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In a thrilling week 11 of the Burntwood Monday 6 a side Football league, teams across the Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 battled it out under the floodlights.

In the Premier League, Burntwood FC took a decisive victory over Sheffield Monday with a 4-2 win. Back to their winning ways and their favourite perch at the top! Norton FC certainly made a statement as they dominated Expected Toulouse with a 5-0 victory. Norton FC's striking prowess has made them a team to watch in this division. That being said, there’s not long left to go!

In Division 1, Harriers managed a narrow victory over Whopper Walsh with a 2-1 win. The most exciting game of the night, however, was between Paquetà Crisps FC and FCDapperGirls. In a goal-fest, FCDapperGirls emerged victorious with a mammoth 10-4 win. That’s all just noise for Watto Club however, who are running away with the show!

Division 2 saw an intense competition between Pink Panthers and Patty Freaks FC, a well deserved Match of the Day encounter. It featured 6 goals, plenty of drama, and with Pink Panthers edging out a 4-2 win. In other news, All Grass No Class and Monday Warriors played out a competitive 1-1 draw, demonstrating their evenly matched skills. As we approach our week off for New Years, it’s all still to play for in this incredible division!

In Division 3, P M T FC trounced Basic FC 6-1, helping them to a slender lead at the top of the table. Can they maintain it!? Meanwhile PSV Hangover managed a 2-0 win over No Name FC. Murder on Zidane’s Floor faced a tough defeat against Kepa Clean Sheet, going down 7-2 in a shock result.


As we head into week 12, there's all to play for across all four divisions, with teams battling for the top spots and the coveted trophy awards. The Burntwood Monday 6 a side Football league continues to be a hotbed of local football talent, and we can't wait to see how the rest of the season plays out.

Next Monday is our last before our week off on the 29th December, back to normal at the start of January- don’t forget!
