In an exciting week of football at the Burntwood Monday 6 a side Football league, we witnessed an array of intense matches across three divisions – Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2. The competition is heating up as we delve deeper into the season.
In the Premier League, Burntwood FC showcased their skills and secured a 2-1 victory over Sheffield Monday, establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with. Watto Club came out on top against Scrambled Legs with an impressive 8-0 victory, showing incredible performance and team play. Especially from a newly-promoted side! Norton FC failed to stop the onslaught from Lattos Toy Boys, who dominated the match with a 4-1 win.
Over in Division 1, Revenge were unable to put up against the robust Whopper Walsh, who secured a convincing 5-0 victory. In a closely contested match. Next up is our Match of the Day where Pink Panthers edged past Davos Diddy Party with a 3-2 victory. Patty Freaks FC demonstrated their dominance with an 8-2 win over Leomansley FC, while Monday Warriors fell short against McGinn N Tonic, who claimed a 5-0 victory.
Division 2 saw some compelling games with PSV Hangover and All Grass No Class ending in a goalless draw. Expected Toulouse proved too strong for Paquetà Crisps FC, winning the match 3-1. P M T FC emerged victorious with a whopping 6-0 win against Kepa Clean Sheet.
With all these high-scoring victories, it suggests some outstanding performances and showcases of individual talent. With the competition progressing and teams gearing up to face new challenges, we can expect to see more thrilling matches in the coming weeks.
