Play in the Burntwood Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The Burntwood Monday 6-a-side Football league saw another action-packed set of fixtures in its fifth week. The competition, split into Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2, featured a series of fierce battles.

In the Premier League, we kick off with probably the greatest Match of the Day ever seen… 17, yes - seventeen goals went in! It was indeed Burntwood FC put on an extraordinary performance to beat Scrambled Legs in a high-scoring encounter, ending at 11-6. Notably, Burntwood FC's attacking prowess showcased their dominance in the division and league table yet again. Additionally, a well fought match saw Norton FC defeat Harriers 3-1, adding another feather in the cap of the Premier League.

In Division 1, Paul's Rent Boys made an emphatic statement, trouncing Revenge 9-0, thus securing a top spot for the week. Toe Poke Mafia followed suit, overcoming Pink Panthers 4-0, evidencing the division's competitive nature. Notably, Whopper Walsh had a close call in a head-to-head game against Patty Freaks FC, scraping through with a 2-1 victory. Monday Warriors also triumphed over Davos Diddy Party in a 2-1 clash, while McGinn N Tonic and Leomansley FC shared the points with a 2-2 draw.

Division 2 also brought forth some remarkable performances, with All Grass No Class demonstrating their superior form, routing 4sails FC 8-0. PSV Hangover also posted an impressive 5-1 victory over Paquetà Crisps FC. In a nail-biting fixture, Murder On Zidane’s Floor edged past Kepa Clean Sheet 3-1, bringing Division 2's week to a thrilling close.
