In a captivating week 6 of the Burntwood Monday 6 a side Football league, we witnessed spectacular performances across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.
In the Premier League, Burntwood FC stood out as they confidently secured a 6-3 victory over Norton FC. An incredible match and the champs walk away with the points! Harriers and Scrambled Legs battled it out in an evenly contested match that ended in a 2-2 draw, while Sheffield Monday edged past Watto Club with a narrow 1-0 victory.
Switching gears to Division 1, Paul's Rent Boys put on a masterful display, defeating Monday Warriors with a resounding 6-1 scoreline. Patty Freaks FC and McGinn N Tonic couldn't be separated as their game was our Match of the Day pick. After a crazy couple of halves, the match ended in a 3-3 draw. Nice job! Pink Panthers showed their defensive prowess, clinching a 2-0 win over Leomansley FC. Revenge and Davos Diddy Party also shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw. The highlight of Division 1, however, was Toe Poke Mafia's dominant 9-1 victory over Whopper Walsh.
Division 2 showcased some high-scoring games, none more so than Paquetà Crisps FC's unfortunate 10-0 defeat at the hands of Kepa Clean Sheet. Expected Toulouse trounced 4sails FC 6-0, while P M T FC managed a notable 5-1 win against Murder On Zidane’s Floor.
