In the Burntwood Monday 6-a-side Football League, Week 7 delivered an intense series of matches across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2. The closely contested matches painted an intriguing picture of competition, power, and gritty determination.
In the Premier League, the match between Norton FC and Sheffield Monday ended in a narrow victory of 1-0 for Sheffield Monday. Lattos Toy Boys also managed to secure a 1-0 win against Watto Club. The match between Karius To Glory and Harriers concluded in a draw with a score of 0-0, keeping the tension high in the Premier League.
Division 1 witnessed some high-scoring games. Paul's Rent Boys trounced Pink Panthers with an astounding score of 5-1. Patty Freaks FC stole the limelight with a commanding 9-1 win over Revenge. A well-fought match between Monday Warriors and Toe Poke Mafia ended in a draw, 2-2, while McGinn N Tonic fell to Whopper Walsh with a close finish of 1-0. Leomansley FC lost to Davos Diddy Party with a score of 0-5.
The action in Division 2 was equally gripping. And here we find our Match of the Day… Paquetà Crisps FC faced a heavy 10-2 defeat by All Grass No Class. A juicy 12 goal spectacle which was great for the neutrals! In contrast, P M T FC dominated their match against 4sails FC, clinching a 9-0 victory. Kepa Clean Sheet triumphed over Expected Toulouse with a solid 2-0 win.
Last night’s exceptional performances have given these teams a significant edge and promise an exciting future for the Burntwood Monday 6-a-side Football League.
