In a thrilling display of skill and sportsmanship, Burntwood’s Monday 6-a-side Football League crowned its champions for week 9 of the season, with the teams from Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 all putting on a show for the spectators.
In the Premier League division, the match between Lattos Toy Boys and Scrambled Legs ended in an exciting 3-3 draw. Meanwhile, Karius to Glory and Sheffield Monday held each other at bay, with no team managing to score, resulting in a 0-0 deadlock. The tension was palpable as Harriers and Watto Club also marked a 1-1 draw.
The Division 1 matches were no less competitive. Patty Freaks FC narrowly lost to Paul's Rent Boys, with the latter team clinching a 3-2 victory. Pink Panthers proved stronger against Monday Warriors, snatching a 1-0 win, but the crowd was truly electrified as McGinn N Tonic prevailed against Revenge in a tightly contested 4-3 match. Are stellar Match of the Day performance like no other! In other news, Toe Poke Mafia and Whopper Walsh emerged victorious against Leomansley FC and Davos Diddy Party, respectively.
In Division 2, P M T FC demonstrated a commanding performance taking a 4-0 clean sweep against All Grass No Class. Murder On Zidane’s Floor matched this result against 4sails FC, while Kepa Clean Sheet ended PSV Hangover's run with a comprehensive 7-2 win.
