Play in the Burntwood Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The Burntwood Monday 6-a-side football league recently wrapped up its 10th week, with an incredible display of skill and sportsmanship across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 divisions.

In the Premier League, Karius To Glory triumphed over Burntwood FC with a 3-1 victory, marking one of the most exciting encounters of the week. Could it be pivotal for the trophy race? Another notable match featured Paul’s Rent Boys who could not be outplayed by Sheffield Monday with a 4-4 draw. However, in a bizarre twist, Lattos Toy Boys and Harriers match ended in a draw as both teams failed to score. That is rare!

Division 1 saw an impressive performance from Patty Freaks FC, who bested Scrambled Legs and earned our Match of the Day thumbs up! It came in a thrilling 7-3 game. 10 goals is brilliant to see, unless you’re on the receiving end! 

All Grass No Class managed a staggering 6-1 victory against Pink Panthers. Whopper Walsh also secured a 2-0 win against Monday Warriors, while Norton FC and P M T FC also emerged victorious against McGinn N Tonic and Reform UK FC respectively.

In Division 2, Watto Club stole the show with a massive 12-1 victory over Murder On Zidane’s Floor. Gangstas Allardyce also had an impressive 5-2 win against Groomers United. Meanwhile, PSV Hangover and Inter Row Z narrowly edged out Leomansley FC and Niche Fc in their respective matches with 2-1 scores.

The 10th week of the Burntwood Monday league saw some high-scoring games and intense rivalries. We were also able to welcome 2 new teams to our league! As we move onto the next week, these teams will surely be the ones to watch.
