Play in the Burntwood Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the exciting world of local football, the Burntwood Monday 6-a-side league delivered yet another thrilling showcase of talent and teamwork in its 12th week. Fans were treated to a display of sublime skill and robust competition across four divisions: Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 6.

In the Premier League, the match of the day was an intense face-off between Harriers and Sheffield Monday. Despite a valiant effort, Harriers were bested by Sheffield Monday 3-1. The second match was our Match of the Day Feature! An end to end game saw Paul's Rent Boys triumph over Savins Under 6s in a high-scoring duel that ended 4-2.

Division 1 saw equally compelling action as McGinn N Tonic clashed with Pink Panthers, succumbing 2-1. The Patty Freaks FC edged out Monday Warriors in a tightly contested match that ended 2-1, and P M T FC drew the crowd's cheers with a remarkable 2-nil victory over All Grass No Class. Great work!

In Division 2, Murder On Zidane’s Floor emerged victorious over Davos Diddy Party with a final score of 3-1, while Watto Club secured a significant 4-2 win against PSV Hangover. The match between Gangstas Allardyce and Leomansley FC ended in a 1-1 draw. Niche FC and Kepa Clean Sheet both celebrated clean sheet victories, with 2-0 and an impressive 4-0 wins over Groomers United and 4sails FC respectively.

A single match in Division 6 saw Reform UK FC narrowly besting Inter Row Z with a 1-0 scoreline, keeping fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle. This is our newest addition and has been installed for all the new teams we have flooding in! More to come on that next week, and this will run until the end of the season. With next season shaping up to MEGA!!!
