Monday 22nd November - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Burntwood Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their scheduled matches throughout the night as ever.

Pete Scores Bangers keep their place at the top of the Premier Division with a hard fought 1-0 win over The Gradient, whilst Chasetown Seniors also won by the same score-line in their match against Burntwood Dads who they leapfrog into fifth place.  Tea and Busquets move into third place as they comfortably beat Six Offenders who lost their third match in four.

Bumfica stay top of Division One and secured their fourth straight win as they ran out 4-2 winners over 8th Place FC, who drop to fourth spot.  Second placed Monday Club stay two points off the pace as they recorded a 2-1 victory over Unbelievable Jeff, a result which also allowed CTL Elite to move into third position as they were comfortable 4-0 winners against Mean Machine.  Janine The Dream rounded off the action with a 2-0 win over bottom of the table Arteta Ball.

Borussia Teeth lead the way in a congested division two, their 3-0 victory over Gabe Itches sees them move to the summit on goal difference, whilst Second 2 None move into second with their 2-1 win over The Dukes, and Obi Wan Bissaka are now third as they were 1-0 winners against Whale FC.  Inter Your Nan got their season off and running with a first victory, they were 2-0 winners over FC Bantalona who remain bottom of the table with just one point from four matches.
