Monday 28th March - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Burntwood Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled, and some excellent football played throughout the night across both divisions.

Pete Scores Bangers had another good result this week to extend their lead at the top of the Premier Division to three points, they were 2-1 winners over The Gradient, whilst Burntwood FC slipped up, losing 3-2 against Largentina, third placed Bumfica FC also lost ground as they were beaten 2-1 at the hands of Janine The Dream, so the results really couldn't have gone better for the leaders!  

There were no surprises in the top v bottom clash in Division One, as MV Kelly were comfortable 3-0 winners over Obi Wan Bissaka to keep a healthy three point gap over second placed Another Team FC, although they did also win to keep as much pressure on as possible, as they beat new team Hit N Miss United 4-1.  Borussia Teeth returned to action this week with an emphatic 6-2 victory against FC Bantalona, whilst Second 2 None moved up to fourth as they romped to a 4-0 win over Norfolk.
