Monday 3rd August - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Burntwood Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their fixtures throughout the night and some excellent matches played across both divisions.

Highlight of the night was the 2 stunning goals scored by Jaden of 'She Was Only XI' in their 2-1 victory over Brush Your Teeth, goals that were worthy of settling any game as both were fired in to the top left corner off the post from about 20 yards out.  

There were some more closely fought games throughout the night in an enjoyable night for all.

Please note we will be in contact with Burntwood Leisure Centre with regards to the current state of the goal nets at the facility and asking them to ensure these are repaired to an acceptable standard before our next session.
