WEEKLY UPDATES FROM BURNTWOOD MONDAY LEAGUE

A very frustrating incident to deal with and definitely not something many people have seen before. Unfortunately these youths were able to ruin the evening for half of our games. The main thing is that nobody was harmed but of course this was far from ideal.

The teams which had their match cancelled will of course have their next match free instead. As for the results/tables, the fairest plan we have is -

* The games which were played will stand with their results. The ones which had to be cancelled have been marked 0-0. To even things up, the next time these 2 teams face each other later in the season- this will be a double reward match, i.e. 4 points to the winners. 

Hopefully we don't have anything similar occur again and it'll be back to pure football next Monday.
