Monday 13th June - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Burntwood Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their games throughout the night, the only exception being a late cancellation from Second 2 None who return to action as normal on Monday 20th June.

Largentina made it 4 wins from 4 this week and recorded a second successive 4-2 win as they overcame Bumfica who drop from second to fourth.  The Gradient were held to a draw for the second week running as they stay in third place, they shared the spoils with Pete Scores Bangers in a game that ended 2 a piece.  The CTL Elite and Tea and Busquets also ended all square as they drew by the same scoreline whilst Borussia Teeth recovered from defeat last week to run out convincing 6-2 winners over Half Pump and Dribble.

Hit N Miss United went to the top of the Division One table this week at the expense of Burntwood Dads who they beat by a convincing 3-0 scoreline.  Chasetown Seniors also moved above the Dads and into second place following their impressive 5-0 win over Monday Warriors who've had a tough couple of weeks.  FC Bantalona's unbeaten start to the campaign continued as they stay fourth following a 2-1 win against Inter Your Nan.  Norfolkinchance won by the same scoreline as they made it back to back wins by overcoming WIP FC.  Friel United and Janine The Dream completed the action as the two shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
