Sunday 16th February - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their fixtures as scheduled barring Tavern Lions who have been confirmed to return as normal on Sunday 23rd February.

Chase Lions perfect start to the season continued as they picked up a 6-0 victory against Bwood Dons, keeping their fourth successive clean sheet in the process.  Buddersfield moved up to second spot following their 1-0 victory against All stars, whilst Ringers United went into third spot at the expense of this weeks opponents, with a 3-2 victory over Murder on Zidane's Floor who drop to fourth.

It was top v bottom in Division One and the result went the way we expected, with Forty Winks brushing aside Hazlewood House 9-0.  DTFC Moved back into the top two following up their defeat last week with a 1-0 victory against The Hated Seven.  Fortress won by the same scoreline against Ggamblers to move into third spot whilst Peek Eboue sit fourth and level on points after a 2-0 win over Pique Blinders.
