An interesting day across both divisions so it was! 

Chiefly among which was in the Premier League where the existing glory front-runners 6 Elites were stopped in their tracks by an energetic Maximum Effort FC (1-0). This gave Allstar Ringers a prime opportunity to take the desired top spot which they accepted with no hesitation in their game. 

MK Dongs also kept up as lead of the chasing pack with their 6-0 win over struggling Fat FC. Effectively knocking them out of the title race in a real "4 pointer" clash. 

In Division 1 Only Here for the Beer could only muster a stalemate 1-1 draw with fellow mid table side DTFC. The Ringers punished doubtful Ladzio FC 4-0 in order to further cement their status at the top. 

Today's Match of the Day was to be found here in the form of a 4-1 win by Peak Eboue over Al-Ettifaq In El Ref - smashing! A big shout out to Only Here For The Beer who stayed on for a friendly against Warriors despite their tiresome league game, thus enabling Warriors to take the W! 

Greggs on Legs, Peak Eboue and Warriors are all just a hair apart and still vying for that runners up spot in this Division. You can find out how them, and all our other teams get on next Sunday from 4pm.
