The Burntwood Sunday League continued its thrilling action last night with an intense display of skill and determination from the competing teams. Week 10 saw some remarkable results and standout performances as teams battled it out in the Premier League and Division 1 divisions.
In the Premier League division, Fat FC asserted their dominance with a resounding 3-0 victory over Murder On Zidanes Floor.
Meanwhile, in a closely contested match, Mexican Smugglers and MK Dongs played out a goalless draw. Both teams showcased their defensive prowess, with neither side able to break the deadlock. The standout performers in this match were the goalkeepers, who pulled off some impressive saves to deny their opponents.
In Division 1, Warriors made a statement of intent with a convincing 2-0 win over D.T.F.C. This win further solidifies their status as one of the favourites for promotion.
FC R United staged a goal-scoring spectacle as they cruised to a dominant 7-1 victory over Maximum Effort FC.
In a fiercely contested match, Cardiac Saggy Breast managed to claim a narrow 3-2 victory over Only Here For The Beer. Goals from Adam Clarke, Mark Wilson, and Steven Thompson secured the win for Cardiac Saggy Breast, while Only Here For The Beer fought valiantly, with goals from Paul Johnson and Andrew Smith.
Lastly, Ladzio FC fell short against a strong AllStars team, who emerged victorious with a 3-1 scoreline. AllStars' top goal scorer, Ryan Thomas, was in fine form as he found the back of the net twice, with Will Jones adding another goal to seal the win. Ladzio FC's lone goal came courtesy of Daniel Brown.
