Burntwood Sunday Football League Week 11 Results: Premier League and Division 1

[Burntwood, 9th July 2023] - The action was intense as the Burntwood Sunday Football League continued into its eleventh week. The thrilling encounters in both the Premier League and Division 1 showcased the immense skills and competitive spirit of the teams involved. Approaching the final stages of the season now!

In the Premier League, MK Dongs clashed with Fat Fc in a high-scoring affair. The Dongs emerged victorious with a final score of 5-3. The game witnessed some exceptional performances!

Another exciting fixture in the Premier League saw NortonFC take on Branaldo FC. The latter displayed their dominance on the field, securing a convincing 5-1 victory. Branaldo FC showcasing their abilities in just their first ever Sunday season, wow.

Meanwhile, Division 1 witnessed some nail-biting encounters that had the crowd on the edge of the line. Ladzio Fc and D.T.F.C engaged in a grueling battle that ended in a goalless draw, leaving both teams with a point each.

The AllStars faced off against Cardiac Saggy Breast, where the AllStars emerged triumphant with a 3-1 victory. Andy Leek's management not going amiss!

Only Here For The Beer took on Greggs On Legs, dominating the game from start to finish with a resounding 5-1 scoreline. 

In another thrilling match, Peek Eboue clashed with FC R United, with FC R United clinching a hard-fought 3-1 win. 

Finally, Maximum Effort FC and Warriors engaged in a fiercely contested match that ended in a 5-4 victory for Warriors. This has to be our hands-down Match of the Day!

As the Burntwood Sunday Football League continues to showcase the talent and passion of local football enthusiasts, fans eagerly await the upcoming fixtures that promise more thrilling encounters and exceptional performances. Apologies for the issue with one of the temporary goals on pitch 3, this is due to 1 of the smaller, usual goals being damaged beyond repair during the week. We hope the centre will be communicating better and have this resolved in a timely manner!
