Play in the Burntwood Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

It was another thrilling week of football at the Burntwood Sunday League, with local teams showing impressive skills and sportsmanship during week 15 of the season.

In the Premier League, AllStar Ringers came out on top against Fat FC with a decisive 3-0 win, bolstering their position in the standings. Much needed for them with the 6 Elites managing to keep pace just behind em. However, with the finish line approaching fast, it would appear that AllStar Ringers have one hand on the cup!

 Maximum Effort FC put up a valiant fight against Obese City, but couldn't quite close the gap, finishing the game at 2-3. This was our Match of the Day! The tightly contested match between Too Old To Care Utd and No Hope City ended in an amazing 1-1 draw, showcasing the gritty determination of both teams. 

Meanwhile, in Division 1, The Ringers pulled off a narrow 2-1 victory over Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref, keeping their 100% winning streak going and wrapping up the title race considerably early... Congratulations Andy! All that remains now is the knife-edge race to be runners up and gain promotion.

We witnessed Greggs On Legs managed to edge out Warriors with a 1-0 win, keeping their name in the hat. Only Here For The Beer emerged triumphant against Peek Eboue with a 2-0 victory, keeping things very close in this top-class clash of titans! 

These recent matches have only intensified the competition in both divisions. The anticipation for the week 16 fixtures is already building, with all teams eager to improve their rankings. As the season progresses, it's becoming increasingly clear that there's still everything to play for in the Burntwood Sunday Football League. Stay tuned for more updates next week!
