Play in the Burntwood Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The Burntwood Sunday Football League unveiled yet another exhilarating week of action in Week 17 with teams from the Premier League and Division 1 showcasing their mettle on the pitch.

In the Premier League, the night witnessed a nail-biting match between AllStar Ringers and 6 Elites. 6 Elites managed to edge out a 2-1 victory in a game that kept everyone on the edge of their seats. In another match, Obese City narrowly defeated Maximum Effort FC with a tight scoreline of 1-0, underlining the competitive spirit of the league. 

The most commanding performance of the night, however, was delivered by MK Dongs, who cruised to a 6-1 victory against Too Old To Care Utd, showcasing their dominance in the league. Not a good night for our Star Sunday Captain!

In other news, Division 1 equally matched the intensity of the Premier League. D.T.F.C secured a clean sheet against Warriors with a decisive 4-0 victory, displaying their proficiency on both ends of the pitch. The Ringers outclassed Gemmas Lads 6-1, further solidifying their position in the league. A real slap in the face for our newest entrants! 

A tightly contested match between Greggs On Legs and Peek Eboue ended in a 1-1 draw, proving the balanced competitiveness of the division. Finally, Ladzio Fc and Only Here For The Beer ended their match on an even note with a 2-2 draw. With 4 beautiful goals, this one goes down as a certain Match of the Day!

The night's top scorers were MK Dongs from the Premier League, with their stunning six-goal performance, and The Ringers from Division 1, who managed to put six goals past their opponents. Both teams were at their best, providing an entertaining spectacle for the fans.
