Play in the Burntwood Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

Football fans were treated to an exciting week of action during this "unlucky" week 13 of the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side Football League. The two divisions standing tall were the Premier League and Division 1, where teams played with unmatched passion and skill.

In the Premier League, we had a volcanic top of the table clash between Burntwood Isotopes FC and MK Dongs. The Isotopes mustered a slim victory with a final score of 2-1, displaying an impressive show of determination and teamwork. This sees MK Dongs with much ground to make up on second place as we enter the closing stages of the season. 

In another match, AllStar Ringers showed their dominance and secured an impressive 5-0 victory over Too Old To Care Utd, demonstrating their strength and strategy on the pitch.

In Division 1, Greggs On Legs and D.T.F.C battled it out in a thrilling match that ended in a 2-2 draw. The sheer perseverance of these two sets of lads, earns this tie our weekly Match of the Day award. 

FC R United and Top Notch also demonstrated a similar level of competitiveness with a 1-1 draw. This was a real bitter pill for FC R to swallow as Peak Eboue now move to within just 1 point of their crown. This comes thanks to their guaranteed win and friendly at the end of the night. A big shout out to them for putting in the travel/effort and all eyes will be on these 2 teams over the final few weeks!

The match between Obese City and Warriors also ended in a yet another 4-goal thriller; a marvelous 2-2 draw, showing the high level of competition in our league. Remember, this is something that other providers just cannot provide! However, the real pasting of this division was between Ladzio FC and Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref, where the latter team dominated the field and secured a massive 5-0 victory.

With such thrilling performances this week, the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side Football League promises even more intense and competitive matches in the weeks to come. Fans and teams alike are eagerly looking forward to the next round of matches.
