In the 7th week of the Burntwood Sunday 6-a-side football league, the Premier League and Division 1 witnessed nail-biting matches that left spectators and players on the edge of their seats.
In the Premier League division, Allstars FC showed their prowess, besting D.T.F.C with a score of 4 - 2. A real dent for their title push I’m sure we can all agree! Next up we have our Match of the Day. It featured Smokin Aces, who greatly contributed to the week's excitement with a strong win over Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref with a score of 5 - 2. Another huge shocker which sees them get their 1st win, and Al Ettifaq taking down a peg!
In other games, Zingers FC and Bottom Bunch FC also emerged victorious against Lord Of The Ringers and Real Unfitico respectively. Peek Eboue showed a tremendous performance, thrashing Hakuna Juan Mata with an assertive 5 - 0. A huge shake up for the Prem table overall, don’t write anyone off!
In Division 1, Obese City triumphed over Wekantewin by 2-1 while Mick's Bulldogs outperformed Ladzio Fc with a score of 4 - 2. FAT FC showed their superiority with an 8 - 0 win against Yam Yam Army. These 3 lions both defending their league positions valiantly!! Warriors also demonstrated their strength by defeating M S Opeless 5 - 0. A huge shocker! The Ringers capped off the day's matches with a resounding 7 - 0 win against Sporting Stonnall. Can anyone stop their massacre at the top!?
