The Burntwood Sunday 6-a-side football league witnessed an exhilarating showdown this week as we entered into the 12th week of the season. 

In the Premier League division, the Lord of the Ringers dominated the field with a phenomenal 9 - 1 victory over Hakuna Juan Mata. Smokin Aces weren't far behind either, delivering a commendable performance against D.T.F.C with a 6 - 4 win. With 10 glorious goals, it’s no wonder this was our Match of the Day!

Bottom Bunch FC showed their mettle in a 3 - 0 win over Peek Eboue, keeping them right in the race for top! Meanwhile Allstars FC outperformed Zingers FC in a 3 - 0 match. Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref fought hard but was eventually overpowered by Real Unfitico with a 1 – 3 loss.

Moving on to Division 1, FAT FC made their mark with a 4 - 1 victory over Warriors. Ladzio FC showcased their talent with a 4 - 2 win against Wekantewin. However, the highlight of this division was unquestionably The Ringers who trounced M S Opeless in a staggering 13 - 0 match. Obese City edged out Yam Yam Army in a close-knit match with a 1 - 0 victory, and Mick's Bulldogs pulled off a close 2 - 1 win against Sporting Stonnall. Crazy results here mean that other than 1st, this division is split wide open! Exciting stuff!

The top scorers of the week in the Premier League were Lord Of The Ringers, scoring an impressive 9 goals, while in Division 1, The Ringers stole the show with their breathtaking 13 goals.

The Burntwood Sunday league continues to be a thrilling spectacle for football enthusiasts.
