In a night filled with intense sporting action, the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side Football League delivered another memorable round of games for Week 2 of the season.

In the Premier League division, the Bottom Bunch FC narrowly defeated Real Unfitico with a scoreline of 1-0, clearly showcasing their defensive superiority. D.T.F.C was particularly impressive, delivering a potent attack against Allstars FC, winning 4-1. 

Proving their mettle in a tight game, Smokin Aces emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref. However, it was the Lord Of The Ringers who stole the show this week with a resounding 9-2 victory over Zingers FC. They keep up their unbeaten start in the top tier! FAT FC also etched out a close 1-0 win over Peek Eboue.

Moving onto Division 1, and we shall start with our Match of the Day. The mighty Warriors secured a strong 3-1 victory over Ladzio FC, will it be a great season for them? Time will tell… Meanwhile Sporting Stonnall eked out a 1-0 win against Hakuna Juan Mata, demonstrating a well-executed game plan. The most dominant performance in this division came from Sunday Footy FC, who trounced Obese City with a 6-0 scoreline.

These thrilling matches have set the stage for an exciting season ahead in the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side Football League, where every team is showing promise and the competition for the top spot is fierce. The upcoming weeks promise more enthralling football action as the teams continue to battle it out on the field.

Remember we are still on as normal next Sunday, the 24th August. Only our Monday night football on the 25th is postponed!
