Burntwood Sunday 6 a side news 2025-11-16

In an enthralling week 15 of the Burntwood Sunday 6-a-side Football League, a host of teams battled it out in the Premier League and Division 1, providing a spectacle of football that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.

In the Premier League, FAT FC made a splash with a 18-0 demolition of PSV Hangover. With other close rivals missing out, this takes them up to a firm second place - with a remarkable goal difference! The commanding performance saw them stealing the show as they demonstrated exceptional prowess on the field.

Bottom Bunch FC also made their mark with a solid 3-1 victory over Smokin Aces, helping them to lay a glove on third spot. Meanwhile the league leaders were in action in today’s Match of the Day instalment. The mighty Lord Of The Ringers came out on top in an eleven-goal thriller, defeating D.T.F.C 9-2.

Over in Division 1, Mick's Bulldogs and Obese City played out a goalless draw in a tightly contested match. Such an important game with 2nd place to fight for. However these two Goliaths just couldn’t commit enough attacking play and risk losing it all - as you were gents! Sunday Footy FC completely outplayed BallersFC with a 5-0 triumph, making their intentions clear for the rest of the season. Yam Yam Army fell to a strong Ladzio FC side, with the scoreline reading 5-1. Hakuna Juan Mata cruised to a 5-1 win over Warriors, while Team Baldies managed a narrow 1-0 win over Sporting Stonnall. Two huge upsets to round off the afternoon!

This week's action in the Burntwood Sunday Football League showcased brilliant displays of teamwork, skill and strategy from all teams playing in the Premier League and Division 1. The anticipation is already building for what looks to be an exciting week 16.
