In the Premier League, it was of course Lord Of The Ringers who emerged victorious after a remarkable season. Dominating the league with an impressive record of 18 wins to secure a total of 36 points, Lord Of The Ringers showed remarkable skill, tenacity and teamwork throughout the season. Their consistent performance was key to their success, winning the hearts of fans and the respect of their competitors. Plus a big shout out to Peak Eboue for finishing as the next best ranked in this league!
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Sunday Footy FC reigned supreme with a total of 34 points and 17 victories. Their final match showcased their tactical prowess and unyielding determination, setting the bar high for the other teams in the division. Obese City demonstrated their offensive strength but let their 2nd place slip with a 2-2 tie against Yam Yam Army, while Warriors and Barking FC ended their match in a 1-1 draw. Ladzio FC emerged triumphant over Hakuna Juan Mata with a 4-1 score. Finally our Match of the Day saw Mick's Bulldogs swoop in for that promotion place by defeating Sporting Stonnall in a 4-1 victory that showcased their strong gameplay.
As the final whistle blew, marking the end of the season, fans and players bid farewell to an exceptional season of football. This season has been filled with memorable moments, thrilling matches and outstanding performances from all teams. Congratulations to the winners and here's to another exciting season ahead in Burntwood's Sunday football league.
