In the heart of Burntwood, the footy magic continues as the 6 a side Sunday Football league unfolded, marking the halfway point of the season with some thrilling Week 5 matches. A total of seven teams from three divisions clashed, offering the spectators a feast of action and some impressive scores.

From the Premier League, Bottom Bunch FC and D.T.F.C locked horns in a nail-biting duel. The latter managed to secure a comfortable 2-0 victory, further fortifying their claim on the top spot. Despite Bottom Bunch FC's brave efforts, D.T.F.C's impregnable defense and strategic gameplay proved too daunting to overcome. They retain their spot at the crème de la crème.

Over in Division 1, the clash of titans between Allstars and Ladzio Fc proved to be a crowd-pleaser. The Allstars clinched a 3-1 victory, demonstrating their dominance in the league. Ladzio Fc, although valiant, couldn't resist the relentless onslaught from the Allstars. A slender lead they still maintain over the competition…

The Division 2 games offered no less in terms of thrills and football prowess. A nerve-wracking draw was witnessed as Hakuna Juan Mata tied with Barking Fc at 1-1. The battle between Real Unfitico and Yam Yam Army earnt itself a spot on our Match of the Day feature. The contest ended in a close 3-2 victory for Real Unfitico. The most decisive victory of the division went to Legends FC, who decimated Warriors with a solid 4-0 win, underlining their strong position in the league.
