BURNWOOD SUNDAY: WEEK 7 FOOTBALL LEAGUE HIGHLIGHTS

The intensity was high last night during Week 7 of the Burntwood Sunday 6-a-side Football League, with teams from the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 divisions giving it their all on the pitch.

In the Premier League, D.T.F.C. emerged as the dominant force, decisively defeating Peek Eboue with a scoreline of 5-0. They keep up the good work at the top of our pyramid!

Their competition was equally fierce when Obese City showed their might against Inter Yanan, leaving no room for contention with a whopping 11-0 victory. The Prem looks set to go down to the wire!

Division 1 had its share of adrenaline too. KK FC demonstrated their prowess by sweeping Sporting Stonnall clean with a 5-0 win. The Allstars also shone brightly in our Match of the Day. A vital win for them came against Sosobad FC, they set about securing a 6-3 victory, adding yet another feather to their cap.

Down in Division 2, the Legends FC and Warriors were in full form, both achieving clear wins against their respective opponents. Legends FC successfully shut out Barking FC with a 4-0 victory, while Team Baldies fell to Warriors in a 5-0 defeat. In a nail-biting face-off.

In other developments.  Hakuna Juan Mata managed to secure a slim victory against Yam Yam Army with a 1-0 scoreline.

As we move into Week 8, we anticipate more high-spirit clashes and jaw-dropping football action. The spirit of competition and the love for the game continues to drive these teams towards achieving their best.
