In the thrilling week 9 of the Burntwood Sunday, a 6-a-side football league, teams from the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2 left spectators on the edge of their seats with their spectacular display of skills and sportsmanship.

While the Premier League teams showcased some of the finest football of the season, it was the Division 1 and Division 2 games that stole the show. In Division 1, Ladzio FC found themselves on the wrong side of a 2-0 defeat against Smokin Aces. 

The final games was none other than our Match of the Day. It featured a huge upset to boot! The Sporting Stonnall proved their worth with a clean 2-0 win over KK FC, incredible! In other news, Allstars delivered a devastating 11-0 blow to Sosobad FC.

Action in Division 2 was equally breathtaking. Legends FC left no stone unturned in their ruthless 13-0 victory over Barking FC. Warriors stood tall against Team Baldies, pulling off a narrow 2-0 victory. Another highlight of the evening was Hakuna Juan Mata’s decisive 5-0 victory over Yam Yam Army.

The Burntwood Sunday League continues to provide a platform for local football talent to flourish. The teams are now gearing up for the 10th week, with fans eagerly awaiting the next round of matches. As the competition intensifies, it will be intriguing to see which teams manage to hold their nerve and come out on top in the remaining weeks.
