Burntwood Sunday Football league season came to a dramatic close this week, with the final matches of Premier League and Division 1 playing out amidst intense competition and unrivalled fanfare.

In the Premier League, The Ringers found themselves at the top of the table with an impressive 31 points and 15 wins, proving their dominance throughout the season. Despite their loss to Peek Eboue in the final match, their performance throughout the season was unmatchable. Peek Eboue, on the other hand, ended the season on a high, defeating the league leaders 3-0, showing their mettle and potential for the next season. Other notable matches included Obese City's comprehensive 5-1 win over Zingers FC and D.T.F.C's thrilling 4-3 triumph over Bottom Bunch FC.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Sunday Footy FC emerged as the victor with 34 points and a whopping 17 wins. Their strength as a team was evident in their 1-0 victory over Sporting Stonnall. Barking FC also registered a commendable victory against One Big Football Orgy, ending the match 4-2. The highlight of the league this week was Warriors' remarkable 9-3 win against Smokin Aces, a testament to the formidable form they maintained throughout the season.
