Play in the Burntwood Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

Excitement was at fever pitch last night at the Burntwood Sunday 6-a-side Football League, as we approached week 9 of the season. Teams from both the Premier League and Division 1 battled it out in thrilling encounters, with some impressive football on display.

Starting with the Premier League, D.T.F.C and The Ringers kicked off the night with an intense face-off. D.T.F.C proved their mettle by narrowly securing a victory with a final score of 3-2. This result places them in a comfortable position as we head towards the closing games of the season.

The second match of the Premier League saw Bottom Bunch FC dominate Peek Eboue with their robust defensive strategy, achieving a 4-0 scoreline. This victory marks another clean sheet for Bottom Bunch FC, further cementing their reputation as a formidable force in the league.

Meanwhile, the Division 1 games heated up with Warriors showing their supremacy against Barely Athletic. The Warriors, living up to their name, displayed an exceptional performance, securing a 5-1 victory. They were followed by Ladzio Fc who locked horns with Barking Fc, and impressed the spectators with a 5-0 win.

The last match of Division 1 had fans on the edge of their seats, a long wait for our Match of the Day, delivered… We saw DYNAMO clash with Sporting Stonnall in a nail-biting face-off. Dynamo claimed a hard-fought victory with a 2-1 scoreline, demonstrating their relentless spirit and determination. Great work!

All in all, week 9 of the Burntwood Sunday 6-a-side Football League was a spectacle to behold. The players displayed sportsmanship and talent in abundance, providing a thrilling experience for all.
