Sunday 12th December - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their fixtures barring Tavern Lions, who have now been removed from the league.

Ringers United made it a 5 star start to the campaign, as they recorded their 5th victory in a row to maintain their 100% record, they ran out comfortable 7-0 winners over Obese City.  6 Elites are level on points in second place, only goal difference settling the two, Elites were 3-0 winners in their match against Murder on Zidane's Floor.  Third placed Fat FC were comfortable winners also, as they were 5-0 winners over BUT FC, whilst MK Dongs and Pique Blinders couldn't be separated as the two drew 1-1.

In Division One, 6 Class Players were convincing 9-0 winners over Ladzio, who had only conceded three goals in the four games prior, they will be looking to regroup and tighten back up going into next week.  Peek Eboue stay in second place as they ran out 4-2 victors over Fortress, whilst third placed Warriors couldn't find a way past a stubborn Delph and Safety side, in a match that ended goalless.  DTFC moved up to fourth place as they ran out 4-0 winners over bottom placed Untouchables Reborn, whilst new team Roy's Allstars picked up an impressive result on their first game, as  they were 6-0 winners over bottom of the table Hazlewood House.
