Sunday 24th February - Burntwood Round-Up

It was another excellent evening of 6 a side football in Burntwood on Sunday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across both divisions.

Chase Lions were back to winning ways and remain at the top of the Premier Division as they won 4-2 against 6 Stars.  Ringers United are still chasing top spot and they won by the same scoreline in their game against Bayern Alwayslosen.  Peek Eboue overcame a tough test against recent additions to the league Tavern Lions, 3-2 the final score.  Meanwhile Top Notch came out victorious in a thrilling game against Slightly Overweight, 5-3 the final result.  Sluggers United and Murder on Zidane's Floor played a stalemate as they drew 1-1.

Norton FC thrashed Jurgen Flopps 6-0 to remain top of Division One, however they can't shake off Bacon Mbappe who still sit two points behind them as they won again this week too, they beat Multiple Scoregasm 4-1.  There were 2-1 wins for Fortress over Bayer Neverlusen and also for Mourinho's Elite over Bottom Bunch, whilst Warriors played out a 1-1 draw with Box of Chocolates.
