The Solent and University Monday 6-a-side league at Cantell School

The first match of the night saw ‘Team Name’ play ‘Released on Bale!’.  The former took a two goal lead by the halfway point of the match, a well-worked goal and then a thunderous long-range strike propagating them into the lead.  However, ‘Released on Bale!’ were down but not out – they continued to play good passing football and were rewarded with a goal, after a thumping finish.  The match became tighter and tenser thereafter, and with chances at both ends to seal a result, neither took them, ensuring the game finished 2:1.  

Following up, ‘Madeleine Milan’ played ‘Poutsoi’.  Despite the former’s dominance, ‘Poutsoi’ effectively broke away on counterattacks to take the lead.  ‘Madeleine Milan’ soon saw their possession turn into goals and the game seesawed back and forth on a razor’s edge, before the final whistle blew at 3:3.
