The Solent and University of Southampton Monday 6-a-side league of Cantell School

The first match of the evening saw ‘VSOC FC’ take on league young guns ‘Released on Bale!’.  In a low-intensity encounter, ‘Released on Bale!’ generally showed greater composure in the final third and had massive thanks to pay to their excellent goalkeeper, with game finishing 3:1 in their favour.  Secondly, ‘AFC Fraudlands’ played ‘Adam’s Under 11s’.  

With the help of more substitutes, the latter team dominated proceedings, notching five goals against their opponents.  Both teams tired, though, and the game staled thereafter.  Finally, ‘ISOC FC’ took on ‘Poutsoi’.  

The latter team controlled the possession and tempo of the game, scoring goals at regular intervals, but ‘ISOC FC’ clinically dispatched their few chances on the counterattack.  The game deservedly finished 6:2, summing up a lacklustre night of football.
