The Solent and University of Southampton Monday 6-a-side league of Cantell School

In one the opening matches of the night, ‘Spiced Rum’ ran out easy winners against ‘Lads on Toure’, displaying excellent finishing in front of goal to win 5:2.  

‘Mayflower FC A’ comfortably beat ‘Almastone’ 5:0, despite numerous chances for the latter.  

In the final match, ‘Poutsoi’ narrowly lost to ‘Madeline McCan’t Be Found’ in the highest quality game of the night.  The latter’s captain’s solo goal, running from one end of the pitch to the other, proved to be the difference in the competitive 3:2 win.
