New Monday 6-a-Side Football League Launches in Oldham

Oldham football enthusiasts have a new opportunity to engage in competitive play as Leisure Leagues introduces a Monday 6-a-side football league at Chadderton Football Club. Set to commence in August 2025, this league aims to foster community spirit and promote fitness among local residents.

The league will be hosted at Chadderton Football Club, located on Andrew Street, Chadderton, Oldham, Greater Manchester, OL9 0JT, Each match will last 30 minutes, with teams paying £32 per week, equating to less then £6 per player. The surface is suitable for football boots or moulded boots, ensuring optimal play conditions. 

Matches are scheduled for Monday evenings, providing a convenient time for participants. The league emphasizes safety and professionalism, with qualified referees. 

The league is part of Leisure Leagues' broader effort to promote community engagement and physical fitness through accessible football opportunities. With the success of their existing Tuesday night league in Oldham, which boasts 20 teams, the addition of the Monday league is expected to further enrich the local football scene.
