Match Day Four roundup

Premier League Roundup

Backup Players 0-3 Netsix And Chill

Netsix and Chill shocked the Leisure Leagues footballing world with a stunning 3-0 victory over Backup Players. Netsix, who were without a win this season until yesterday, were fantastic from minute one, playing fast attacking football, their AS Roma counterparts would have been proud of. Joe Lovett was once again excellent for Netsix, and is looking like an early contender for player of the season.

Man of the match: Joe Lovett

Paris Ganja Man 6-0 The Big Wangers

Paris Ganja Man certified their position as the top 6-a-side team in the city with a frighteningly good demolition of The Big Wangers. The Wangers, who were unbeaten in five games, simply had no answer to the fantasty football produced by the Parisians, who are now hot favourites for title glory.

Man of the match: Tom (Paris)

Salad Dodgers 3-2 The Mighty Morphin Flower Arrangers

Salad Dodgers gained a vital victory over the Flower Arrangers with a thrilling 3-2 win. This end to end classic was in the eventually decided by the Dodgers ability to convert a higher percentage of chances. The Flowers were not happy with a couple of refereeing decisions, but will look to turn their attentions back to the pitch next week when they face Backup Players.

Division One Roundup

Balotellitubbies 4-0 Adam Johnsons

If ever there was proof that football is not all about possession then this was it. Despite having the lions share of the ball, Johnsons simply could not create enough clear cut chances, and were caught on the break by a well-oiled counter attacking machine in Balotellitubbies. If the Johnsons can add a little creative spark to their attack then they could certainly do some damage in the league.

Man of the match: Martin (Balotellitubbies)

Beercelona 1-0 Brexteam

Beercelona claimed victory in a ferocious top of the table clash with Brexteam. With tackles flying in left right and centre, both sides showed excellent competitive spirit, but at times the game became a little too heated.

To ensure an enjoyable experience for all players Leisure Leagues operates a zero tolerance policy on bad discipline, so we would like to gently remind both teams that in future games they must calm it down a little, or they will face punishment.

Brendan Sullivan netted the only goal of the game.

Ivory Toast 0-0 Os Martelos

A scrappy relegation dogfight that will be remembered mostly for the chances missed. Both sides looked nervous and edgy with so much on the line, and will both probably take a point and look to improve next week.

Captain Patrick Gubb produced an excellent save for Ivory Toast to earn his side a point.
