Paris continue title assault on match day 2

Premier League Roundup:

Backup Players 0 – 3 Paris Ganja Man

Hot title favourites Paris Ganja Man continued their assault on the Leisure Leagues Premier League crown with a convincing 3-0 win over Backup Players. Despite adopting a defensive formation, Backup Players could never really contain one of Loughborough’s finest 6-a-side outfits. Jordan Brewards men will look to get back to winning ways against Salad Dodgers next Sunday.

The Mighty Morphin Flower Arrangers 5-3 Netsix and Chill

The Mighty Flowers gained a first win of their Leisure Leagues careers on Sunday with a thrilling win over Netsix and Chill. A feisty end-to-end game was ultimately decided by the Flowers’ ability to take their chances when presented to them. Netsix and Chill were much improved from last week however, and have fit into the Premier League nicely.

The Big Wangers 4-0 Salad Dodgers

Division One Roundup:

Beercelona 1-0 Adam Johnsons

Adam Johnsons dropped more yet more points on their quest to achieve promotion to the Premier League after succumbing to Beercelona 1-0. Beercelona started the game quickly and not for a number of world class saves from Johnsons keeper, and captain Connor Tinley, could have been several goals up. The pressure eventually told with Brendan Sullivan netting the only goal of the game for the whites, who move up to third in the league.

Balotellitubbies 1-0 Ivory Toast

Balotellitubbies edged out Ivory Toast 1-0 in a very scrappy Division One affair. Only a moment of genius from Balotellitubbies midfielder, Riley Morley, separated the two sides. Back to back wins for the tubbies means they are now eyeing promotion to the Premier League.

Man of the Match: Riley Morley

Brexteam 3-0 Os Martelos

Brexteam produced an outstanding performance to dismantle Os Martelos 3-0. Using a combination of pace and power Brexteam’s constant pressure eventually told off with two games late in the game complimenting their goal from the penalty spot.
