In the world of 6 a side Football, the Cheltenham Monday league moved into its third week with exhilarating matches that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

In the Premier League division, the Sandford Boyz pulled off a spectacular 3-1 win against HSC, showcasing their team's impressive ability to control the ball and dominate the field. Meanwhile, a thrilling match between Dont Look Back Elanga and Barely Athletic ended in a 3-3 draw, a testament to the neck-to-neck competition and equal prowess exhibited by the two teams. Steaua Cheltenham also clinched a narrow victory against Juve Gotte Be Joking FC with a final score of 3-2.

We did have an injury in the Sandford Boyz game as Harry Bradshaw had a head collision with someone else on the pitch. I am pleased to say he is fine, has a bruise to show for it but is fine and read to go for next 

Switching gears to Division 1, Apple Tree FC beat Tikka Mo Salah with a good victory, sending shockwaves through the spectators. Aura Milan FC triumphed over Real Sosobad with a score of 2-1 and Netbreakers CF dominated We Got The Runs, ending the game with an impressive score line.

As we move further into the season, the competition only promises to get more thrilling and the teams more determined. The league continues to be a showcase of local talent and a testament to the spirit of football in Cheltenham.

The league is now OFF for Bank Holiday Monday this week and will return Monday 2nd June 2025. We wish all players, officials and there families a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend and will see you all when we return.
