In an electrifying display of talent and sportsmanship, Cheltenham’s Monday 6 a side Football league saw some thrilling matches yesterday. Week 11 of the season showcased the best of local football across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 categories.

There was also an incident on the night in the game between Hairy Maguires and Unathletico Club de Pittville  where a player from Hairy Maguires got carded for dissent. The player in question has been fined and banned subsequently for there actions. These incidents will be dealt with swiftly by the area manager every time they happen at our leagues to ensure that the league is running as safely as possible.

The Premier League witnessed some fierce competition. Barely Athletic managed an impressive victory against Apple Tree FC with a close 6-5 scoreline. Juve Gotte Be Joking FC also secured a strong 6-3 win against Baggingham Boys, while FC Romania narrowly defeated Dont Look Back Elanga with a 1-0 score. Real SoSoBad also beat Renewaballers FC finishing 5-2.

In Division 1, Aura Milan FC triumphed over HSC with a 4-3 score. Other notable matches included a 5-1 win by Craggy Island Over 75s against Netbreakers CF. RO Boys also overcome Calbarrie Compliance winning 3-2 in an intense game.

In Division 2, Bossman Botafogo outplayed Brexit Ballers with a clean 2-0 victory.  Unathletico Club De Pittville and Hairy Maguires ended in a 2-2 draw, while Wu 2 Electric Boogaloo scooped a 5-1 win over Zim Lions.

Overall, the week was packed with impressive performances and thrilling games, showcasing the best of the local footballing talent in Cheltenham. As the season progresses, the competition is only set to intensify.
