Play in the Cheltenham Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues
In the third week of the Cheltenham Monday 6-a-side Football league, an evening of thrilling matches unfolded, illustrating the undying spirit of football.
Unfortunately, we did have a non-attendance on the night, Glosgow Rangers were not present for their game and we will be in contact with them this week in order to confirm their return for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.
In the Premier League division, the intensity was palpable as Real Sosobad succumbed to Apple Tree FC 2-1 in a closely competed match. Juve Gotte Be Joking FC gave an impressive performance, defeating Balkan Desert United 5-1. FC Romania and Baggingham Boys ended on a dramatic note with a 2-2 draw. Meanwhile, Barely Athletic managed to secure a 2-0 victory against Craggy Island Over 75s.
In Division 1, IDFC demonstrated a stellar performance, overpowering Aura Milan FC with a big score. Netbreakers CF emerged victorious against Wu 2 Electric Boogaloo with a 4-1 score. Renewaballers FC defeated Bossman Botafogo 3-1, while HSC managed to overcome Dont Look Back Elanga with a 6-4 victory.
The matches in Division 2 were equally captivating, with Unathletico Club De Pittville securing a resounding victory over Brexit Ballers. Zim Lions managed to defeat Tikka Mo Salah 3-1, and HHS sealed a decisive 5-1 win against Hairy Maguires.
This week's Cheltenham Monday league matches provided a visual treat for football enthusiasts, with players displaying exceptional skills and teamwork. The road to the finals is still long, and we can only expect more exciting matches in the coming weeks.
