The Cheltenham Monday 6-a-side football league witnessed an exhilarating display of competitive spirit in its week 2 clash. The stellar performance by the teams within the Premier League and Division 1 has stirred up football enthusiasts, setting the tone for the rest of the season.

Unfortunately, there was an incident on the night after the game between HHS and Hairy Maguires, where a player from HHS adopted aggressive behavior and has been fined and banned accordingly for his actions. These incidents will be dealt with swiftly every time they happen by our Area Manager to make sure the league is a safe place to be for all the teams and staff. 

We did also have a non-attendance on the night, Zim Lions were not present for their game and we will be in contact with them this week in order to confirm their return for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time. 

In more positive news, in the Premier League, Stupac outshone Juve Gotte Be Joking FC with a 5-2 victory, while Real Sosobad showcased a robust defense strategy against Raggy 6's, ending the match at a 2-0 scoreline. In a remarkable display of offensive prowess, Baggingham Boys trounced Unathletico Club De Pittville with a whopping win.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Aura Milan FC suffered a 1-0 defeat against Bossman Botafogo. The game between Netbreakers CF and Tikka Mo Salah ended at 4-2, favoring the former. Wu 2 Electric Boogaloo triumphed over Calbarrie Compliance with a 5-2 victory, and Hairy Maguires outperformed HHS in a 3-1 win. The match between Craggy Island Over 75s and Brexit Ballers was a landslide victory for the former with a 6-2 score.
