Play in the Cheltenham Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues
In a dramatic turn of events on the football turf last night, the 14th week of the Cheltenham Monday 6 a side Football league kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
We did unfortunately have a non-attendance on the night as Raggy 6's were not present for their fixture. It is paramount all teams are present each week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.
In the Premier League division, the competition was fierce. The Baggingham Boys took on Stupac in a tight game that ended with Stupac clinching a 2-1 victory. However, it was the match between Real Sosobad and Chippo FC that intrigued fans the most. Chippo FC handed Real Sosobad a heavy defeat. IDFC cruised past Juve Gotta Be Joking FC beating them comfortably.
Over at Division 1, equally intense matches were underway. The game between Brexit Ballers and Wu 2 Electric Boogaloo ended in a 2-2 stalemate. Meanwhile, Craggy Island Over 75s secured a 4-0 win over Tikka Mo Salah, showing their excellent form. The highest scoring game of the night was between Calbarrie Compliance and Netbreakers CF, with the latter claiming victory with a 7-4 scoreline.
As the season continues, the competition becomes increasingly fierce. We can only wait and see what the next week of the Cheltenham Monday league brings.
