It was a fantastic evening of action at Chester leisure Leagues which saw some very closely fought matches across both divisions. All teams were in attendance with the exception of Unatletico Madrid who will be replaced coincidentally by a a new team of the same name next week!
We thank all teams for you continued support and reliability as always.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT- Due to increasing costs, as of next week, there will be a small increase in our match fee from £32 to £35, which is less than 50p per player. This is our first price increase since the league started in August 2022.
MATCH REPORT
In the Premier League division, it was a night of closely contested matches. Carefree FC faced off against 2 Goals 1 Klopp in a high-scoring affair, resulting in a 3-3 draw.
Meanwhile, Local Ballers and FC Polonia displayed their defensive prowess as they settled for a hard-fought goalless draw. The teams showcased their resilience and tactical discipline throughout the match, making it a stern test for both sides.
In another intriguing clash, Six Guys FC emerged victorious against Bottom Of The League FC with a commendable 3-1 scoreline.
Lastly, Steak And Vale Pie and YANITED locked horns in a tightly contested battle, with YANITED edging past their opponents with a narrow 1-0 victory to close the gap at the top to a single point!
In Division 1, Sporting Abeergut and MICHU AT DE GEA BAR battled it out, but neither side could break the deadlock, resulting in a goalless draw. Stella Courtois and Riley Reid Rangers also played out a similar scoreline, showcasing their defensive resilience.
Mount Your Mum faced a tough challenge against league debutants Solomon Sevens, who managed to secure a hard-fought 1-0 victory.
