Thursday's Match Report
It was a fantastic week of action in our Chester Thursday league which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled. We thank all teams for your continued support and reliability as always!
In the Premier League division, the competition was fierce. The match between 2 Goals 1 Klopp and Steak And Vale Pie ended in a tense 1-1 draw. Both teams showed exceptional defensive skills throughout the match. In another tight game, YANITED reclaimed top spot as they squeezed out a victory against Six Guys FC with a final scoreline of 1-0.
The most surprising result of the day came from the match between league leaders FC Polonia and Carefree FC. With a victory of 4-0, Carefree FC proved their are more twists and turns to come in this title race! The Local Ballers also managed to pull off a 1-0 win over Bottom Of The League FC, which added another layer of excitement to the league.
Moving onto Division 1, the teams did not disappoint with their energetic and dynamic performances. League debutants Unathletico Madrid managed a 2-1 victory over MICHU AT DE GEA BAR, while Mount Your Mum secured a tight 1-0 win against FTR FC. In a goalless duel, Solomon Sevens and Stella Courtois held each other off with a 0-0 draw. Wrapping up the division, Riley Reid Rangers fell to Sporting Abeergut with a 3-0 defeat.
