It was a fantastic evening of football in our Thursday league which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled.
In the Premier League division, Whatsthemata had a reason to celebrate as they held their nerve in a 2-1 victory over title rivals Thirsty Thursdays to go 4 points clear at the top. Steak And Vale Pie secured their Premier League status with a 2-0 victory over FC Polonia. Texas Oldham's fine form continued who clinched a nail-biting 2-1 win over Mount Your Mum. The Oil, unfortunately, fell short to Sporting Abeergut by 2 goals to 1 in what was an end to end encounter.
Over in Division 1, FTR FC's slim promotion hopes are still alive as they beat Stroke Titty 5-1 to move within one point of the promotion places. Elsewhere, Jaeger Young Boys and Mount Your Dad, as well as AngelasAngels and AFC Vegas, played out goalless draws. Unathletico Madrid and Searchability ended their match in a 1-1 stalemate, leaving both teams with a point to take home.
